Zr-Ox MK II
Continuous Oxygen or O2/CO2 Measurement in Inert Gases
The Zr-Ox MK II is the base model and is used for continuous measurement of oxygen or O2/CO2 concentrations in inert gases (N2, CO2, Ar, etc.), in the range from 1 ppm to 99.9%, in many industrial processes. Combustible, aggressive or corrosive gases should be avoided because they can affect the measurements or even damage the sensor.

The measurement gas is fed in without pressure through the built-in measurement gas pump. The measurement gas can be fed in under overpressure if required. Depending on the unit’s options, the measured value is displayed directly on the front panel and output via the analog output or RS232 as a standardized 0/2-5/10 VDC or 0/4-20 mA signal, again depending on the unit’s options.
The unit has intuitive menu guidance that allows the user to adjust all important parameters and to configure the unit according to his/her individual requirements, all in a very short time. It is also possible to enter all parameters by PC, over RS232.
The Zr-Ox MK II has 3 relays that can be used, for example, to trigger an alarm when the measured concentration falls below or exceeds a selected value, when the flow rate is insufficient or when there is a system error. The relays can be programmed as normally closed contacts or normally open contacts. The Zr-Ox MK II was developed especially for industrial use in machines (such as soldering and packaging machines), where continuous monitoring of the oxygen or O2/CO2 concentration is important.

Continuous Oxygen Measurement in Gases

As a base model, the E-CH MKII is used for continuous measurement of oxygen concentrations in all gases in the range from 50 ppm to 65%, in any industrial processes. It provides continuous oxygen measurement in goods packed under protective gas, and can also be used in gases with combustible components, such as alcohols or flavoring agents (coffee). Some examples are in inerting processes or welding processes under forming gases with hydrogen contents.
